When traveling in the summer you need to remember that this is when gas prices are usually the highest, so you need to accommodate for this. You also need to accommodate for the extreme heat in some parts of the world during the summer, so make sure there are adequate facilitations for such circumstances. Furthermore if you decide to travel to any location during the summer, or really any other season as well, you need to remember to protect your skin from the sun with at least 15spf sunscreen.

There are plenty of places to go for your honeymoon or just for a romantic vacation in general. Since it is a romantic get away it really should be a unanimous decision between you and your partner in order for you both to get as much as possible out of the trip. For romantic vacations it does not really matter what season you decide to travel in. You could go to some top of the line resort and spa located on a beach somewhere during the summer or you could go to a cozy cabin in the snowy mountains in the winter. This decision is completely up to you, but most people tend to travel during the season they like best.
Before heading off on your romantic vacation there are a few things you might want to think about first. For instance you are not going to be taking any children with you, so you might want to choose some location that is less likely to have children running around. You are also going to try to leave everything work related at home, like the laptop. Also try not to give your number to where you can be reached to anyone but the family members that need it in case of an emergency. Furthermore if you have to take your cell phone remember that you should not use it unless it is an emergency, which means that you should leave it turned off.
